Quality Assurance
The IMBA modules and the IMBA Professional Plus (IPP) code has been extensively quality assured [1].
In particular, results of bioassay and dose calculations have been compared with values calculated with one of the codes used by ICRP to calculate dose coefficients and bioassay values for its ICRP Publications.
The results are reported in the user manuals B and C.
The IMBA Professional Plus code version 4.0 satisfied the
U.S. Department of Energy safety software quality assurance
requirements and is now included in the DOE Safety Software Central Registry (download the gap analysis report).
