IMBA stops working after changing preferences

If you are currently running version 4.0.82 of IMBA Prof Plus, the program may stop working if you try and change your preferences (i.e. using "Edit-Preferences" menu from the main screen). If you experience this problem, this is probably due to a file PREF.DAT (in the Jabasoft\IMBAEXUS folder) becoming corrupted.
The problem can be fixed by either:

  1. deleting the file PREF.DAT (and resetting your preferences from the main menu), or
  2. downloading the latest "imba.exe" from the Download table in the Software Update page, which automatically fixes this problem.
