Problems running IMBA Professional on Vista and Windows 7

If you receive the error message "Unexpected error" and the program terminates, then the problem maybe due to your security settings.

Try the following set of instructions to fix this problem:

Click the Start button
In "Start Search" type cmd
The command (cmd) icon should now show up under the programs at the top of the start menu
Right-click on the command icon
Select "Run as Administrator"
Go to the imba.exe directory (At the prompt, type:
cd X:JabasoftIMBAEXUS, where X is your installation drive, e.g. C)
Type imba.exe /regserver <enter>
Try running the application (e.g., double-click the IMBA icon on the desktop).
It's a miracle!

Problems installing IMBA Professional on Vista and Windows 7

If this software is going to be installed on Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit), you could encounter problems when installing it. The following instructions should, hopefully, fix the problem.

If the installer does not find a path where to store a .msi file, required for the installation, an error message will be prompted. Just click "OK" and you will be given the option of choosing an alternative folder. Choose any folder, e.g., TEMP. After the installation, the file saved in TEMP can be removed.
