Software Update
This page can be used to download the latest versions of all of the IMBA Professional Plus files to ensure trouble free running. Also, existing users of IMBA Professional can update their software to IMBA Professional Plus. All of these updates are free of charge.
Existing Users of IMBA Professional
Existing users of IMBA Professional can now update their software to IMBA Professional Plus free of charge. This can be done automatically in IMBA Professional by selecting Menu | Help | Check for Updates. Alternatively, the required files can be downloaded here. You will need to download imba.exe, msstdfmt.dll, turbobio.exe and turbodis.exe from the 'Download Table' below
IMBA Professional Plus uses new algorithms which are between six and ten times faster than those currently used by IMBA Professional and IMBA Expert users. There are also many enhancements including implementation of vapours. Existing users of 1-star and above will also be able to simulate uptake from wounds (Add-On 5), and Full-Edition users will also receive Add-On 4 (uranium mixtures) completely free.
Existing Users of IMBA Professional Plus
Existing users of IMBA Professional Plus can download the latest IMBA modules and other files used by IMBA from the 'Download Table' below free of charge. The version numbers of the IMBA modules currently installed on your computer can be found by running IMBA Professional Plus and selecting 'Help/About IMBA Prof Plus' from the main menu. A comparison of the existing version numbers with those in the table will indicate which modules need to be downloaded to keep up to date.

Instructions
- For each available update listed in the table above, check to see if it is more recent that the relevant file in your IMBA system. IMBA itself and the update program have version numbers which can be found by running these programs (run the update program from IMBA's menu as described above). Other files use a date last modified system, this information can be found in the Properties of the file. Where the file listed in the table is more recent than the file on your system, or the file listed in the table is not on your system, proceed to step 2.
- Click on the available update you wish to download.
- Choose to save the update in the download location listed in the table above.
- When saved, double click on this file in the download location and extract it to the same location (using WinZip).
- When the file has been extracted. delete the *.zip file you originally downloaded.
